About Divine Insight

With my wife, Simba Lyn
In April 2009, I made an important decision that I would never great. It has become one of the all-important decisions of my life — starting off this blog. I wouldn’t say it was a “sudden” burst of revelation from the Holy Spirit, no. But I am thankful that God speaks to us in many different ways. One of them is through other people.

Although I did not know of Tafadzwa Lillian Gotora I came across some of her writings which were in possession of a former work mate. I really loved the material, so much that “I googled” her and bang! There was her BLOG.

I would visit the blog over and over again and slowly the idea started forming in my mind and I told myself it would be good to have this kind of an online site. That is how I started.

I wanted to have a blog that would be unique and attractive, which would encourage and inspire people while dealing with spiritual issues — be there “straight-forward”, hard, or controversial — in human life in general and in the body of Christ.

But at After God’s Heart, we have certain irrevocable beliefs, primarily that: the Bible is the inspired Word of God equally in all parts and without error in its original manuscript, absolutely infallible, and our source of supreme revelation from God, superior to conscience and reason, though not contrary to reason; and it is therefore our infallible rule of faith and practice (II Timothy 3:16-17; I Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12).

We also believe in one God who has revealed Himself in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are all co-eternal, all stand equally superior to time, free from the temporal distinctions of past and future.

Therefore, all arguments, positions, lines of thinking, perspectives and ideas shared here about any individual, subject or object, should be in sync with the infallible Word of God.
